We’re named after Acts 2:42, where the early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. That’s the heartbeat of Church 242.

We worship as a family, then kids head to Activated Kids (ages 3–12) for their own fun, faith‑filled program.

After each gathering, we hang around for food, coffee and real conversation.

Meet Our Senior Pastor

Mathew Carlsson is the Senior Pastor of Church 242. Mathew is married to Emma, is a South West Local and is extremely passionate about seeing people becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.

Mathew was a raging atheist who has been set free by Jesus Christ, He is currently finishing his Masters in Theology and is on a mission for everyone to experience the freedom, life, love and grace in a life surrendered to Jesus!

We love the Word of God while enjoying the Spirit move through our Church and through our Body of Believers. We are crazy about building a community that displays the love of Jesus while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and sprinting in His Will!! We are passionate about seeing faith filled, spirit let, truth seeking warriors of God flourish n the South West.
